Previously, in 2008 Jeremiah accepted a position with the College of Business Testing Center at UCF, setting him on a career path in higher education and educational technology. Jeremiah quickly rose to the position of Testing Center Manager, overseeing the daily operations of the testing center within the College of Business at UCF, the nation’s 2nd largest campus by enrollment.
In his role of Testing Center Manager, Jeremiah is credited with several initiatives and innovations, the most important being the redevelopment of the process for administering exams during finals week, weekend testing and the core lecture courses. These process improvements increased efficiency, allowing for an increase in student testing slots, with the elimination of lines and bottlenecks during peak examination periods. Jeremiah played a critical role in a joint partnership with the College of Engineering in the creation of their own Testing Center, providing the foundation for their future success, and educating their management and staff on the process and requirements for running a successful Testing Center.
Outside of work, Jeremiah enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fishing and other outdoor activities. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Instructional Design.
